Celebrating Life is an initiative by Movement for Alternatives and Youth Awareness (MAYA) and Karnataka No For Tobacco an alliance of professionals and organizations working on protection of youth from tobacco, drugs and other substance abuse. The initiative focuses on empowering youth and their guardians with required tools, knowledge, resources and linkages to protect youth from these addictions.
MAYA is more than 30 year old organization working in the areas of youth empowerment, skills development, education and public health.Our initiatives has transformed into independent organizations such as Labournet, Prajayatna, FairKraft who are continuing MAYA’s endeavors across the country. We are closely working with State Tobacco Control Cell, High Power Committee for Tobacco Control and other entities on Tobacco Control.
Karnataka NO for Tobacco (KNOT) is an alliance of professionals and organizations working on prevention and control of cancer and other Non Communicable Diseases.
