Students/ Youth sensitization helps the students understand their vulnerabilities to tobacco, drugs and other addictions and equip them with knowledge and skills to prevent exposure or addiction. The sensitization also covers topics on the Govt rules and policies on these harmful substances that will develop the youth / students as law abiding citizens as well as voice their rights.
Youth champs are the trained youth leaders who form the tobacco control / drugs control champions at their education institutions representing the voice of youth at various forums. They form the contact point for the students & youth to reach out for support/ help on the issues of tobacco, drugs and other addictions. The group will continuously engage fellow students ensuring their protection from the harms of tobacco and drugs.
Government of India has mandated all the education institutions to be declared as tobacco free based on certain criteria. We help educations institutions to achieve these criteria.
